It's pretty much the worst thing that can happen while you're Tinder-ing: You fall into a left-swipe stupor, passing on guy after guy. And then, you spot him: the attractive, normal-looking man who isn't showing off his abs in a bathroom mirror. Too bad your thumb has a mind of its own and next thing you know, you've swiped him a "Nope" and you're stuck assuming that you just lost your one chance at true love because he obviously could have been your soulmate.
Okay, despite being a tad overdramatic here, this happens, and it's a really annoying problem in the realm of online dating. No Way: "Tinder isn't about finding the love of your life—it's meant to be casual! That's the entire appeal of it. So if you swipe someone away, so what? It's the same as letting a hot guy walk away in a bar without approaching him. You could wonder what if? But as they say, there are always other fish in the sea...and there are certainly other Tinder profiles, too." —Sam M.
