The Easiest Way to Make Veggies and Hummus Portable

The Easiest Way to Make Veggies and Hummus Portable

Finally, a health blogger shares a how-to that won't end as a Pinterest fail.

We love veggies and hummus—but we hate the mess that undoubtedly ensues when you try to eat the power snack on the go. Until now.

Blogger À La Graham recently wrote a genius post about packing veggies and hummus in a jar to make them portable. Why haven't we been doing this all along?!?

Here's how to pull it off: Line the bottom of a mason jar with your favorite spread, cut some veggies (they should be slightly shorter than the jar), and then stick them straight in. The arrangement will keep your pre-cut, pre-dipped veggies standing straight up in the jar mess-free (it works best if you use enough veggies to basically fill the jar).
