Uniqlo and MOMA Have Created the Coolest Collaboration Ever

Uniqlo and MOMA Have Created the Coolest Collaboration Ever

You'll want to buy every single item in SPRZNY, the new collection from the two icons.

You promised yourself that you wouldn't buy any more tees, seeing as how your dresser can't even handle the ones you already own. But there's a new collaboration featuring tons of cool T-shirts that will make you want to purge your drawers. Uniqlo announced today the launch of SPRZNY (pronounced "Surprise New York"), a fashion-meets-art collaboration between the clothing retailer and the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).

The collection consists of 200 items inspired by artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.  Some pieces feature imagery that you'll definitely recognize (like Warhol's soup cans and Marilyn Monroe), while others make more obscure artistic references. The collection is more than just T-shirts, too: It also includes jackets, socks, shorts, scarves, and totes.

If you live in the New York area or plan to visit, definitely stop by Uniqlo's flagship Fifth Avenue location (666 5th Ave.), which will have the arty pieces on display (as an added bonus, it also contains a full-service Starbucks inside, so you can stay caffeinated while you shop).

The collection will be available at Uniqlo stores and online at sprzny.uniqlo.com starting tomorrow.
