Changing up your beauty routine doesn't have to mean drastic overhauls to your look—or your bank account. These small changes, all recommended by Florida-based makeup artist Karla Lola, will have people saying, "You look great!"—and they couldn't be easier.
1. Try a Different Liner Shade
Bored with your go-to black liner? Lola says that a fun way to add a subtle pop of color to your look is to try a liner in a dark shade, like navy, brown, or wine. Feeling extra ambitious? Try a shade that will bring out the color of your eyes. Lola recommends brown shades for blue eyes, purple hues for green eyes, and blues for brown eyes.
2. Switch Up Your Part
There's no easier way to refresh your look than to change your part—it gives you instant volume. Find out which part will look best on your face shape.
3. Use Brow Powder
If you haven't jumped on the brow-obsessed bandwagon, now is the time. Lola says that filling in the brows is an extremely important part of creating a structured makeup look. "It shapes the eye better," she says. Already filling in your brows with a pencil? Lola suggests changing it up with a powder instead. "I highly recommend brow powder since it gives a softer look," she says.

4. Change Up Your Mascara
It's easy to fall into a rut with tried-and-true products you keep purchasing over and over again. But changing up the formulation of your mascara can make a huge difference: Switch out your lengthening eye makeup for one that focuses more on volume, or vice-versa. Feeling ambitious? Try one that promises to add both length and volume to your lashes.
