9 Cocoa Powder Smoothies Because CHOCOLATE

Just…yum.

Before you accuse chocolate of being an unhealthy smoothie ingredient, you should know that research suggests consuming cocoa powder can increase your body's anti-inflammatory response, cutting heart disease and stroke risk. Sweet, right? (Sorry, we couldn't resist.) If that isn't convincing enough for you, maybe these nine appetizing sips will change your mind.

It's almost painful looking at this cocoa powder, almond butter, banana, yogurt, honey, almond milk, and strawberry smoothie and not be drinking it. Sigh.

The dark, gloomy feel to this cocoa powder, spinach, banana, coconut milk, coconut water, pepermint, and cocoa nib smoothie is haunting...in a weirdly delicious way.
 

Who could ever pass up a cocoa powder, cocoa nib, chia seed, chocolate almond butter, almond milk, banana, and strawberry smoothie? No one!

Beyond the purple, you'll be happy to know that cocoa powder, strawberries, spinach, bok choy, hemp heart, almond milk, and coconut milk are the main ingredients for this bad boy.
