If your Netflix history is looking a little...different...these days, blame it on the holiday season. There's something about freezing temps, twinkling lights, and your sudden sweatpants addiction that just makes you want to lay in front of a fire and watch something cheesy and romantic. If that sounds like absolute heaven to you, too, make sure to add these to your must-watch list:
1. Bridget Jones's Diary
Ring in the New Year by imagining you're the one caught in a love triangle between Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. You won't regret it.
2. The Holiday
Lovelorn Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet swap houses in attempt to escape romance on Christmas—a plan that obviously goes awry, as it should in a movie where Jude Law plays the Hottest Dad Ever.
3. Love Actually
No list of festive rom-coms is complete without this holiday classic that follows the love stories of eight couples during the countdown to Christmas. If you need a reminder of why you should watch it for the umpteenth time this winter, here's a clip of Hugh Grant dancing. No further comment.
4. While You Were Sleeping
This 1995 oldie-but-goodie has all the trappings of a great romantic comedy—mistaken identities, zany misunderstandings, and adorable accidental love. You know, all the things you expect in a movie about a woman posing as the fiancé of a man in a coma on Christmas.

5. When Harry Met Sally
This classic rom-com may take place over many years and seasons of chance encounters between the eponymous leads, but there's no beating the big New Year's Eve climax.
6. Sleepless In Seattle
It is impossible to binge on rom-coms without Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan making an appearance—and this holiday romp where they meet via a radio talk show on Christmas Eve is the perfect way to work them into your queue.

7. Elf
Elf is probably better known for being more com than rom, but alongside the wacky adventures of Buddy the Elf is an equally endearing love story with the adorable Zooey Deschanel.
8. Just Friends
Okay, it may not have been a box office hit, but this underrated romantic comedy is still good for a laugh—or an excuse to drool over Ryan Reynolds as he tries to win the heart of his old high school crush while home for the holidays. Also, Anna Faris plays a hilarious-yet-psychotic pop star, so there's that.
