Deep-Fried Pumpkin Spice Lattes Are Now a Thing

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

The food blogger who brought the world deep-fried tequila shots has now taken on the fall food trend people can't get enough of, otherwise known as the pumpkin spice latte. Amy Erikson, creator of the food blog, Oh, Bite It!, made the deep-fried pumpkin spice latte by dipping pound cake in the Starbucks seasonal drink, deep frying it, and covering it in cinnamon sugar. The end result looks a little like croutons—and Erikson recommends serving it on skewers.
