Oprah Winfrey is wearing just one iconic piece of clothing on the September cover of O, The Oprah Magazine: a black unitard. And, in true Oprah form, she’s rocking it.
“I’m feeling pretty phenomenal on this cover,” the star said at the cover shoot, according to Hearst PR. “I was a little apprehensive about doing this cover in a bodysuit because, as Maya Angelou says in her ‘Phenomenal Woman,’ ‘I’m not built to suit a fashion model size.’ But it’s like something I’ve never done, it’s really kind of exciting.”

Here’s Oprah in all of her catsuit fabulousness:
That it’s Oprah’s first time modeling a bodysuit on a magazine cover is apropos—O’s September issue has the theme “Makeovers: Transform Your Life One Easy Tweak at a Time.” “The best way I know for sure to stay in steady makeover mode is to take care of yourself,” writes Oprah in the issue. “To feed yourself with love and loving thoughts. To eat food that’s delicious to you and your body. To engage in loving practices, like giving yourself the gift of stillness at least five minutes a day. To surround yourself with people who bring you light, and to banish all forms of negative energy.”
We’re huge fans of the star’s advice. We love that she’s all about positive energy and self-love and that she was willing to take a risk for the cover shoot—even if she was initially uneasy about it—in order to really shine.
