But actress and author Ali Wentworth explains why the former is always a good decision. When it comes to long-term relationships, it's important to focus on the intimacy:
"I really believe you have your girlfriends to go to for some emotional support and you have your other friends that you can gossip with. Your long-term relationship, your husband or your boyfriend, is the one person you have intimacy with—that you have sex with—and to me that is sacred," Ali said during the Take Charge panel in New York City earlier this week.

"And in any long-term relationship you need to make time for the physical aspect of it," said Ali. "You talk about it, you enjoy it, you make time for it, because it’s the one thing you have with that person that you don’t have with anyone else."
