Sure, you like the idea of homemade salad dressing. Who wouldn't want to top their salads with a French or Asian dressing that tastes amazing and is free of scary ingredients? The only problem is that some dressing recipes are so intimidating—and then you have two weeks' worth of raspberry balsamic vinaigrette that you have to use up before it goes bad.
Luckily, making a delicious ranch or Caesar dressing doesn't have to be so complicated. In fact, you can prep a simple-yet-tasty concoction in a matter of minutes just by combining some vinegar, some fat (like olive oil), and some seasoning for added flavor. We got chef Jerry Pellegrino from the olive oil and vinegar company Pompeian to put together a bunch of dressing recipes—everything from Greek dressing to Italian dressing to honey mustard—using this basic formula. They're all a cinch to prepare—and they only make a couple of servings, so you don't have to stress about how you're possibly going to use up all of what you've made. You're definitely going to want to pin this for future reference!
Kinda makes you want to go make some blue cheese or poppy seed dressing right now, huh?
