The Adorably Honest Thing Daniel Radcliffe Said About Losing His Virginity

The Adorably Honest Thing Daniel Radcliffe Said About Losing His Virginity

What the 'Harry Potter' star thinks about his first time

It's time to face it: Harry Potter—er, Daniel Radcliffe—has officially grown up. Since leaving Hogwarts, Daniel has hit up Broadway, rocked some tousled Frankenstein-era waves, and even set the record straight about the "friend zone" while promoting his upcoming movie What If.

Need further proof that he's all grown up and ready for the chick flick scene? In his recent interview in ELLE's August issue, he opens up about losing his virginity in a predictably charming way:

"I'm one of the few people who seem to have had a really good first time," he told the magazine. "It was with somebody I'd gotten to know well. I'm happy to say I've had a lot better sex since then, but it wasn't as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other people’s were—like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge."

ELLE also asked him if he thought sex was better sober, as he previously spoke about struggling with alcohol. "For some people sex might be better drunk,” responded Daniel, “But for me—and the person I’m doing it with—it's much better sober." We totally agree—sober sex is so much hotter.
