It's no secret that icy winter wind will dry out your skin much faster than warm weather. And let's face it: ashy skin won't attract the ladies. So you're smart to switch your moisturizer accordingly. The solution? Reach for products that hydrate deep into your skin and--most importantly--retain moisture so you're not reapplying them every 20 minutes.
Apply lotion after you get out of the shower when your skin is still damp. This will lock in moisture and help hydrate from the inside out. Also, consider applying product in the morning and evening so your skin won't dry out overnight.
For your face, try Kiehl's Facial Fuel "Heavy Lifting" Anti-Aging Moisturizer. The thick cream contains Linseed extract, which will moisturize your skin deeper and longer.
But don't neglect the rest of you. For your body, you'll want something that's thick and long-lasting. Use Cetaphil DailyAdvance Ultra Hydrating Lotion, which is specifically made for dry skin. It contains shea butter, which will hydrate without making your skin oily.
Lastly, if your hands crack or sometimes bleed in the winter, go for Jack Black's Industrial Strength Hand Healer. Its super-rich texture won't dissipate easily, and it's made with vitamins A & E, which helps the moisture sink into your skin more easily.
Hopefully she won't be able to keep her hands off of your soft skin.
