The Driving Tip That Helps Your Heart

The Driving Tip That Helps Your Heart

Stuck in traffic? Keep your cool. Running your car’s air conditioner can help your heart, suggests a new study from Taiwan.

When people kept the air on during their 2-hour commute, their heart-rate variability, a measure of cardiovascular health, was as much as 32 percent better than that of people who rolled their windows down instead.
