Clear surprise, pure joy—Jamaica's Alia Atkinson won the 100m breaststroke at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Doha, Qatar, over the weekend, and her face says it all.
Alia finished in a time of one minute 2.36 seconds, beating the favorite, Ruta Meilutyte of Lithuania, and equaling Ruta's world best, according to CNN.
The coolest part about Alia's first-place finish? With it, she became the first black woman ever to win a world swimming title:
