Turn Your Salad Into a Smoothie

Turn Your Salad Into a Smoothie

Don't roll your eyes at the idea until you check these out.

We'd bet that you've ordered a salad with romaine lettuce as your main green. And that's smart: It's an excellent source of vitamins K and A. You typically jazz up these leaves with dressing, but you could also use them as a staple smoothie ingredient. Whip up one of these awesome-looking concoctions, and taste the deliciousness for yourself.

We must say, the romaine, spinach, bananas, strawberries, and water in this drink are super-appetizing.

Just in case you can't tell from the photo on the left, this sip was created with romaine, kale, spinach, celery, and ginger lemonade.

Not all romaine smoothies are green! This one also contains beets, blueberries, cucumber, apples, cinnamon, and coconut water.
