Taylor Swift's new album 1989 dropped today, and if you're tempted to skip the gym tonight so you can curl and give it a first listen, no need. 1989 features a score of poppy, '80s-influenced songs that are guaranteed to have you bopping during a workout.
To save you the trouble of skipping around to find the best jam, we've ranked every track from least to most workout-able—totally subjectively and unscientifically, of course. Get ready for a Swift-inspired sweat session tonight.
16. "You Are In Love"
A bonus song only available on the deluxe edition, "You Are In Love" will kill your workout drive. Why? Because it is so ooey-gooey romantic that you'll want to do nothing but snuggle up and daydream about True Love. Forget working out.
15. "This Love"
Another hazily romantic track, "This Love" also won't help you kill it during your workout, but unlike "You Are In Love," this dreamy track is good for a cool down stretch, so long as it's nice and slow.
14. "Clean"
Written and recorded with Imogen Heap, "Clean" might be slow, but it has a pulsing beat perfect for a yoga session that will leave you totally centered. So don't discount it for a workout playlist.
13. "Wildest Dreams"
Lana Del Rey, is that you? This song will help you channel your inner sultry femme fatale, so use its beat to time some of your floor exercises—especially hip raises. What, who says you can't feel sexy during a workout?

12. "I Know Places"
Alright, so maybe this song is about navigating a relationship while constantly getting hounded by the media, but between lyrics like "I know places we won't be found" and "They are the hunters, we are the foxes," and eerie use of echoes and martial drums, this song is so Katniss and Peeta. Anything that pairs well with a Hunger Games training fantasy deserves a spot on your workout playlist.
11. "I Wish You Would"
Good, solid pop that builds steadily. Bop along on that elliptical, girl.
10. "Out of the Woods"
You can get lost in this repetitious, synth-heavy song that asks, over and over (and over and over), "Are we out of the woods yet?" Clearly, you have no choice but to take this song on a nice outdoor run—through the woods, if possible. Enjoy your meta-cardio.
9. "Wonderland"
The repetition of, "ey, ey, ey," throughout the song might have you thinking you're listening to Rihanna, but either way, the Alice in Wonderland allusion-heavy bonus track will let you get lost down the rabbit hole of synth and drums while you knock out your low-resistance, high-repetition weight routine.

8. "All You Had to Do Was Stay"
Here's where we get to the really good pump-up songs. Ready? High-energy chorus + classic Swift heartbreak = perfect song to throw yourself into (on repeat) for your run. For a full experience, lip-sync along while thinking about your jerk ex and freak out the person on the treadmill next to you.
7. "Style"
Don't let the slow introduction turn you off. With its way-way-too-catchy chorus and steady beat throughout, "Style" will have you bouncing as you drop your squats at each drumbeat.
6. "Blank Space"
The workout-ability of "Blank Space" comes from the sass of the tongue-in-cheek lyrics (Hello, "Got a long list of ex-lovers / They'll tell you I'm insane / Cause you know I love the players / And you love the game.") Do whatever exercises you want to this song—just make sure you own them like Taylor owns this song.
5. "New Romance"
This last bonus track on the album is reminiscent of late '70s and early '80s new wave music. With the earworm lyric, "I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me," a kickass, haters to the left attitude will overcome you and power you through your workout.

4. "How You Get the Girl"
"How You Get the Girl" is probably the most upbeat song on the album. Warning: Skip heavy lifting when it's on. The impossibly chipper chorus will make you want to dance—or at least wiggle—so don't do anything that would cause serious injury.
3. "Welcome to New York"
With its uplifting—if, okay, kind of cheesy—lyrics and addictive boom-clapping, you'll want to put "Welcome to New York" on when you feel yourself getting cranky and tired during your workout. Instant upper. Oh, and you might want to bribe your Zumba instructor to choreograph something to it, stat.
2. "Bad Blood"
When you hear the hook ("Cause baby now we got bad blood / You know it used to be mad love / So take a look at what you've done / Cause baby now we got bad blood") and hard-hitting beat, you'll know exactly what makes this an awesome workout jam. Listen while pumping iron, and make sure to indulge in some motivating revenge fantasies about showing up your mortal frenemy.
1. "Shake It Off"
Chances are 1989's first single is probably already on your workout playlist, and for good reason. Sorry, not sorry—that sick beat is too irresistible not to be number one. Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.
