There's no better feeling than finishing a big road race. The day of, you anticipated the challenge, laced up your fave sneakers, wore your best race outfit, and hopefully snagged one or two "race face!" selfies along the way. "BAGEL ME." Arguably the best part of finishing any road race? The friendly race volunteers lined up with box after box of sweet, carb-tastic bagels. The best gift you've ever been given? Very possible.

"WHERE are my parents?" You may not have appreciated the baby photos Dad decided to plaster all over your "Run like the wind!" fan poster, but you wouldn't mind a hug and a congratulatory bouquet of flowers right about now.

"My hair cannot be attractive." But you just ran so fast and so far! Embrace that hard-earned sweaty coif, lady!

"Okay, need a bathroom." Not a lot of people talk about that post-race bathroom session. That's because, well, it's not always pretty.

"I may fall over soon." Your adrenaline has dwindled and you're ready for sleep, like, now.

"I killed that!" What did that clock say when you crossed the finish line again? Who cares? You're done, you're done! FINITO!

"Okay, but what was my time?" Let's be real: It matters. And the downfall of road races: No matter how fast the race results go live on the website, the wait feels like a small eternity.

"What's the point of this thing, anyway?" Ahhh, the post-race space blanket. Since you're asking, the thermal covering is supposed to keep your body warm after you're done exercising, when your core temperature commonly drops. (It also makes a really great cape in Superwoman-pose photos.)

"When's my next race?" Ah-ha! You now officially have the running itch!
