When it comes to her love life, Jennifer Lopez has been pretty much as open as possible. We've seen her break off a very public engagement (RIP Bennifer), marry and divorce Marc Anthony, and, most recently, end a two-and-a-half year courtship with Casper Smart. But despite the ups and downs in her romantic life, J.Lo recently told Elle U.K., "I still believe in love."

“Everybody has seen that I make mistakes," she says in the October issue of Elle U.K., reports People. "Each time it goes wrong it’s hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go: ‘What did I do? What can I learn?’ And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher. I’ve got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right."

And while she's previously said she's not trying to force a fairytale romance, she's still hopeful that she's going to find The One: "The nirvana man, he's out there somewhere. But you just have to work at it. You have to work at everything.”
This levelheaded thinking, owning up to her end of her failed relationships, and keeping it real when it comes to rules of the heart just makes us root for her even more.
