Ask ladies which part of their beauty routine is the biggest pain in the butt, and you'd probably hear a whole lot about shaving.
So why do women put the razor to their legs then? That's the question posed by BuzzFeed in a recent video. Some of the responses: that shaved legs feel better, that they'll do it if someone they like is going to see their legs, and even that they do it more for other women than for men.
The video also delivers a pretty fascinating glance at the history of hair removal. (Frightening fact: According to the video, Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans rubbed theirs off with pumice stones and volcanic glass. Ow!)
