Recent college grad Elise Moreno was a serial monogamist. We all know one—she's the girl who's always in a relationship and has no idea what Tinder is—you may even be her! But now Moreno is working on a new streak: a dating streak. This summer, she's challenging herself to go on 100 dates—and not just with one guy.
The idea came to her on the heels of a breakup, when she realized she has never been single in her adult life. And she doesn't just want to force herself to be man-free, she wants to experience the awkward, crazy, awesome world of dating and learn a few things. Her blog, aptly named 100 Dates of Summer, follows her hilarious and thought-provoking journey as she dates her way through the warmer months, learning about herself and others in the process.
We have to say, we love this idea. Too many of us get stuck in relationship ruts or adopt a feeling of relationship FOMO, where we're so intimidated by the thought of being single or out in the dating scene on our own. Sure, it can be frustrating at times, but it can also be fun, exciting, and sexy. Elise gets to experience that this summer and we can't wait to read more about it. Especially since some of her tales so far have been quite amusing, and some of the guys we'd kind of like to date ourselves (most of whom she's met on OKCupid).

The dating marathoner is currently on number 28 and so far has learned that she dating can be really fun when you're in the driver's seat; "I know it's a really basic lesson, but it's easy to forget that you have total control of what your future looks like," she said in an interview with Nerve.com.
So why is she documenting her dating game? "I'm hoping to inspire both men and women to put themselves out there," she told The Huffington Post. "No games need to be played, you just need to be yourself and treat people like... people." Well, that sounds ideal.

Feeling inspired? Get out there! While we aren't saying you have to go on 100 dates, we definitely admire Moreno for putting herself out there when it would be just as easy to get over her breakup with a pint of ice cream and some Netflix. Think you could use some time out of a relationship? Here are three signs you should be single–for now.
