Her strength-training-meets-yoga style helps women stand taller, look leaner, and gain major confidence
Aha Moment: Shaping up for her wedding—with weight lifting. "I looked like I had a full body lift. I was tighter leaner, and more fit than ever. I took a huge leap of faith and quit my chemical-sales job to become a personal trainer. Aside from being a mom, I've never done something that felt so natural for me."
Training Style: A creative blend of strength and yoga interval training that fortifies both body and mind. "My workouts build strength, improve posture, and fix imbalances, but more important, the results you gain on the mat carry over to everything you do off the mat."
Workout Wisdom: "Make it your mission to be informed." Ask a trainer for help or grab pointers from your class instructor; be proactive about figuring out not only how to do particular exercises, but also why you're doing them. Learning about fitness makes you more engaged, which can increase your initiative.
