We all say we are looking for a nice, funny, smart partner. But for singles that are really serious about that smart bit, Match.com now has a new way to point you toward the nearest bookworm.
The dating site just partnered with Mensa, the world’s oldest high-IQ society, to launch a new exclusive matchmaking service, called Mensa Match, for members of the brainiac elite. (Seriously, Mensa only accepts individuals with IQ scores in the 98th percentile. That means only 1 in 50 Americans is eligible.)
But for those who don't want another dating site to keep up with, existing Match.com members can also add a special Mensa badge to their profiles, virtually signaling their interest in connecting with confirmed genius-level singles.
Plus, Match has created an interactive heat map showing the cities where you can find the smartest singles in America, as determined by their percentage of Match.com members who have graduated from Ivy League schools.
And while there's obviously more to smarts than just IQ scores and Ivy League diplomas, there are definitely WORSE things you could judge a date by, so why not take a look?
