If you're anything like us, you already feel pretty freaking amazing after you finish an intense workout. But riders at Cycle House in Los Angeles have even more reason to glow post-workout: For every class taken there, the studio donates two meals to Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity.

Of course, Cycle House's altruistic side is only one reason riders keep coming back. "We also pride ourselves on being the most intense cardiovascular exercise in Los Angeles," says Sarah Shelton, an instructor at the studio. "We're known to push you to your edge." Instructors' playlists are a key part of that: "Being a cycling instructor kind of makes you an amateur DJ," says Shelton. "You have to take riders on a ride not only physically on their bike, but also mentally with the music." We got Shelton to share one of her recent mixes:
