If you've seen Jessica Alba's abs, you might think she's a magical creature who's on a constant diet and spends 10 hours a day in the gym.
Not the case, she says. "As I've gotten older and after I became a mom, it became more of a priority to be healthy for the right reasons," she told People. "It's more important to have a balanced approach instead of trying to be perfect."

Jessica said she does try to exercise in the a.m. and steer clear of processed foods—but she also gives herself a break if she feels like it. "I don't deprive myself," she told the publication. "I have [junk] if I want it. When I do feel that I am depriving myself, I find that I binge. That's not a balanced way to go about it."
We're completely on board with Jessica’s approach to healthy living. After all, it's close to impossible to swear off every treat and sweet out there, so we love that a fit celeb is touting the benefits of balance.
