Solid foods aren't the only things that could be to blame for your tight jeans.

If you thought dessert was bad for your waistline, just wait until you read about these five drinks that pack more calories than a large brownie (which the USDA has listed as being 227 calories). Seriously, these will make you think twice before you place your drink order.

Grape Juice
Many juice manufacturers sell single-serve beverages in 15.2-ounce bottles—and that comes out to about 270 calories. Way higher than you would have expected, right? (For reference, a 16-ounce bottle of cola is about 200 calories.)

Chocolate Milk
Well, this is upsetting: Eight ounces of this childhood favorite contain approximately 254 calories—and many grab-and-go bottles pack more than than eight ounces.

Orange Juice
This brunch staple has about 258 calories in each 15.2-ounce serving. Just another reason to sip your mimosa very slowly.

Dessert Wine
Don't be deceived by a single glass's 3.5-ounce serving size: Two glasses of sweet dessert wine pack about 320 calories. So as tempting as a second round might be, stick to just one glass for your nightcap.

Cranberry Juice
This is another cocktail favorite—but even sans alcohol, a 15.2-ounce bottle of cranberry juice still contains about 260 calories. That brownie's sounding more and more appetizing…

As alarming as this list may be, it's not an excuse to chug a can of soda—which has no nutritional upside. Apart from the dessert wine, these drinks all contain some redeeming nutrients, like vitamin C. Just make sure to consume them in moderation.
