The Word That Jennifer Garner, Sheryl Sandberg, and Beyoncé Want Banned

The Word That Jennifer Garner, Sheryl Sandberg, and Beyoncé Want Banned

You know it must be pretty bad if this all-star lineup can't stand it.

Sheryl Sandberg, the chief operating officer of Facebook and author of Lean In, has become a champion for women leaders in the workplace. For her latest initiative, she's partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA to help encourage everyone to ban the word "bossy."

Beyoncé, Jennifer Garner, Jane Lynch, Diane Von Fürstenberg, Condoleezza Rice, NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson, and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan have all joined Sandberg to help her further this message and let women know "words matter" and "it's OK to be ambitious." Check out the campaign's video below:

Are you as fired up as we are right now? If so, you can join the campaign by pledging to support it at BanBossy.com.
