The Surprising Thing That 53 Percent of Guys Worry About

Nope, it has nothing to do with their sex lives

We know how harsh women can be about their appearances, but they're definitely not the only ones: Men worry about how they look more than they fret about their health, family, relationships, and professional success, according to a report on the recently released TODAY/AOL Body Image survey. In fact, 53 percent of the dudes surveyed said they feel unsure about their appearance at least once weekly. The only thing they said they get concerned about more often is their finances.

Some more bummer stats from the survey: Fifty-three percent of dudes don't enjoy being in photos, and 41 percent are anxious about being judged on their looks. (On a related note, find out men's top body hang-ups.)

Clearly, many people feel pressure about their physical appearances—regardless of gender. And while it's refreshing to know that we're not the only ones who suffer from insecurities sometimes, it's also a little disheartening that men spend so much time stressing about their looks. So make sure to let your partner know how cute you think he is when you see him tonight—if nothing else, these survey results show that he'll definitely appreciate the compliment.
