Need another excuse to get busy tomorrow? How about saving the planet? (Seriously.) Earth hour is this Saturday night from 8:30p.m. to 9:30p.m., and Durex wants you to celebrate by turning off all your electronics and getting turned on instead. Not a bad idea, right?
If you're not familiar with it, Earth Hour is a lights-off event organized by the World Wildlife Fund. It started in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has become hugely popular ever since, with over 7,000 cities participating worldwide.
Technically you're only asked to switch off your non-essential lights during this hour, but Durex has upped the ante by telling you to totally disconnect from your electronic devices. Why? A recent survey found that one in five people have used their phones during sex. Plus, a recent poll by Durex found that 10 percent of people have read a text and five percent of people have checked Facebook mid-hookup. Hey, we love to multitask as much as the next person, but not at the expense of an orgasm.
