While navy blazers were once the stuff of prep schools and country clubs, the more modern versions can be pretty versatile. We suggest you break out of the preppie paring and rock yours with your favorite jeans everywhere from office hours to happy hours. Just remember to keep your navy and denim at least two shades apart, lest you look like you are wearing a mismatched suit. Add a pocket square or a knit tie when you want to take it up a notch, or be a rebel and wear a henley or polo underneath instead of a dress shirt.
If you want the cool comfort of your favorite cotton pants without the blue blood look of the aforementioned khakis, we'd also suggest trying out a colored chino. Your choices are many: burgundy, red, green, orange or mustard. Even lighter shades of blue still work. Add a chambray shirt and a pair of suede shoes, and you'll stay looking and feeling cool.
