If you had to put a number on how long you would wait after meeting the perfect man to move in with him, what would it be? Six months? A year? For The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, all it took was one blind date to convince her that she and now-husband Ryan Sweeting should shack up together: "Dinner was great, and you know, then he moved in the next day," she said in a recent appearance on The Late Show. "We got engaged after three months. I know you're all thinking, 'She's nuts.' I swear I'm not nuts."
The couple went on to tie the knot in a surprise New Year's Eve ceremony. It's worth noting that, statistically speaking, dating for a longer period before getting married has been correlated with lower odds of getting divorced. The data is less clear on co-habitation before marriage, but some studies suggest that it, too, may up your divorce risk. But there are, of course, exceptions to the rule—sometimes, you just know when you've met the right person.
It begs the question: Do you think Kaley was nuts to move in and get married so quickly?
