Olympic skiing and snowboarding are much more than going from the top of the mountain to the bottom. In fact, next month's Sochi Olympics will include four different disciplines in each of those sports--that means eight distinct events to keep track of.
Even more: Some sports are new to the Games this year. Halfpipe skiing--where athletes are judged on how technical their tricks are and how big they go on, well, a halfpipe--and slopestyle--which is a mix of technical features like rails and jumps--both make their Olympic debut in Russia.
But instead of explaining the sports ourselves, let's allow the athletes to do the talking. After all, this weekend, the U.S. Olympic Committee announced the rosters for the popular Team USA snowboarding and skiing.
Men's Health caught up with Nick Goepper and Bobby Brown--two skiers who scored a ticket to Sochi--and asked them this simple question: Can you describe slopestyle in 10 seconds?&nbs p;
