Déjà vu: MillerCoors--the second-largest beer company in the U.S. with nearly 300 years of brewing history--re-introduced their original light beer packaging to the public this month. The cans also made a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. In an epic product placement opportunity, you can see Ron Burgundy and his news team enjoying the brew in the comedic sequel.
The can--which you may recognize from the 70s--features images of hops and barley, and defines the beverage "a fine pilsner beer." Even though it wasn't part of the original packaging, Miller included a modern twist this time around: a punch top for a smoother pour.
Miller shook up the beer industry forty years ago by offering a light option in a time when beers were heavy and filling. As for the contents? A 12-ounce can will only set you back 96 calories, packing just 3.2 carbs. To put that in perspective, a Bud Light has 110 calories, and 7 carbs.
