Ask the Guy Next Door: "Can I ask a guy to go down on me?"

Ask the Guy Next Door: "Can I ask a guy to go down on me?"

Clint Carter, the Women's Health Guy Next Door, answers your most probing questions

Is it cool to outright ask my guy to go down on me?—Rebecca, Des Moines, IA
Yes, if he's slacking in that area, you can—and should—let him know what you want. If you don't feel comfortable simply blurting out the request, go down on him for a few minutes, then return to eye level before he goes over the edge. He'll likely return the favor. If not, move his hand between your legs, tilt your head back, and arch your spine to create a downward slope for him to descend. Still not working? "Put your tongue between my legs" in a sexy tone will let him know what you want!

What conclusions do you draw based on what you see in a girl's social photo feed?—Jamie, San Antonio, TX
Well, what do you think when you look at our feed? Because I bet we're thinking the same thing. If you post tons of selfies and blurry vodka-shot photos taken at bars, we're going to think you're a narcissistic party girl. You'd come to the same conclusion if we posted nothing but keg-stand and abs pictures, right?

My advice: Surprise us with shots of you climbing trees, painting your new apartment, building a snowman—anything that captures you as the fun and intriguing person you are. And don't post more than three photos from one event (like that Justin Timberlake concert). We like having a peek into your life—but don't need to see the play-by-play.

My husband flirts with my colleagues at work functions. I know it's harmless, but it's embarrassing. How can I get him to stop?—Jenny, Denver, CO
Tell him that you like that he's friendly, but you're afraid other people might misinterpret his general touchiness or suggestive jokes. If you bring up the topic sensitively, he should have no problem redirecting his actions. But if he calls you jealous, probe deeper: He might be seeking attention, which is a bigger problem that needs to be resolved.
