A little low on Christmas cheer? Your solution might be as simple as watching a movie. This week, as you scroll through your holiday movie options, chances are 1965's throwback classic A Charlie Brown Christmas will make the list. In fact, it reigns as Hulu's all-time favorite holiday movie.
And you have more in common with Charlie Brown than you think. In the 43-minute special, socially conscious Charlie Brown laments the materialism of the holidays. According the Pew Research Center, 33 percent of you agree with him: Commercialism and materialism is the number one drawback to the holidays.
Good Grief.
But Charlie Brown eventually finds the true meaning of Christmas. And in the midst of last minute gifting (need some ideas? Check here), errands, and the stress of in-laws and travel, you may n eed a little push to find it too.
So this week, unwind with the timeless cartoon and remind yourself what the holiday season is all about.
