You might browse Etsy every now and then for one-of-a-kind accessories, handmade home goods, and super-special vintage finds. But now that wedding season is here, the site is especially useful. After all, it has more than 900,000(!) shops full of totally cute stuff, including shops with awesome gifts for couples—or accessories for you on your special day.
The thing is, just like Pinterest-scrolling, shopping on Etsy can be a serious time drain. That’s why we’re stoked about the new way to shop Etsy’s finest wedding accessories and gifts: a curated collection at Nordstrom. The department store and the online marketplace teamed up earlier this year on a home collection and they recently introduced a second, wedding-specific line. Weddings with Etsy brings Etsy products to Nordstrom.com and to five Nordstrom stores—San Francisco, Houston, Seattle, McLean, Virginia, and Paramus, New Jersey.
Teams from Etsy and Nordstrom chose the pieces in the wedding collection—81 and counting—from the offerings of six Etsy shop owners. Nordstrom ordered small quantities of each item from the artists and they will be restocked as needed. “Because they’re not commercially produced, they feel a little more one-off and personal,” says Andrea Wasserman, national bridal director at Nordstrom. “It’s a new way to discover and connect with independent designers,” says Vanessa Bertozzi, senior program manager at Etsy.
The line features whimsical hairpieces, unique bridesmaids gifts, and “aww!”-inducing wedding décor—all expertly curated to create personal touches and complement Nordstrom’s bridal gowns, says Bertozzi. Check out a few of our favorite pieces below, and pin the ones you like most!
