AXA PPP healthcare–Dental through the ages

118

As you may be able to tell from my blog, I love to smile. I am a very smiley person, if you were to meet me in real life you will spend half your time wondering what I’m giggling about, as apparently I laugh a lot! I think this is a nervous trait that I have, but at least it makes me appear cheery. So as I am a naturally cheery and smiley person I thought it was suiting to talk to you about AXA PP healthcare and their drive to celebrate the impact of a healthy smile throughout July.

This month AXA PPP healthcare want to inspire people to actively improve their dental health and highlight the development of dental though the years. You can see below some rather gruesome yet interesting facts about dental care in times gone by. My favourite from their dental health fact sheet is that in Egyptian Dentistry animal teeth were used as replacements… fangs anyone! And that the first electric toothbrush came around in the 1960s!

AXA PPP are also running two amazing competitions to win some dental related prizes, Their Facebook competition has the grand prize of the chance to win a trip to Barcelona or one year of dental cover. All you have to do to be in chance of winning this amazing prize is head over to their Facebook page and upload an image of a smile hidden in an object. You can see my entry above!

Their second competition is over on Twitter where AXA PPP healthcare are running a competition to win a Beam Brush- the first ever smart toothbrush which monitors your oral health, simply follow the instructions from @AXAPPPhealth to retweet or use the hashtag #AXAPPPSmile to win. Finally onto the most serious matters after all these competitions. AXA PPP healthcare are holding two, free dental clinics, giving anyone who might have a question on their dental health, an opportunity to discuss it with their dental experts. A talk on Health and Dental will take place on the 11th July at 2PM-4PM and a talk on Teeth Cleaning Products will take place on 25th July 2PM-4PM. You have the chance to submit a question prior to the live date here.

Are you are going to take part in some of these amazing opportunities? What do you think of my entry compared to the others?
