So this Christmas I was a very lucky girl and many lovely things for Christmas. I do truly love gifts. Not just receiving but also buying, wrapping and giving, I have actually been buying and planning my family’s gifts since October. I always insist on people opening them in front of me as well, as there is no greater pleasure than giving someone a gift and them truly loving it!

I got the usual smellies, perfume, beauty products, and many vouchers to buy clothes. I also received the lovely snowman charm for my bracelet, and from my boyfriend an organised trip to Edinburgh Zoo to go and see the Panda Bears… which I am hugely excited for.
What was everyone else's favourite present?

This is the past week for me in pictures.  I have had an extremely busy Christmas week. I only had 3 days off work, and still managed to clock up 360 miles travelling to see all mine and my boyfriends family. When I arrived back in Newcastle my father and his girlfriend visited for a few days, so it has only been till today that I have had a day to myself. Not that I am complaining I have had a great Christmas.

I hope you all had a lovely week.

JWoww indeed! JWoww Jersey Shore Bikini Line

Woww: The racy bikinis are sure to raise eyebrows, even on the Jersey ShoreJersey Girl: Jenni Farley better known as JWoww has launched a swimwear line

Sticky situation: The strapless bikini top stays up with the help of an adhesive

Jenni "JWoww" Farley from The Jersey Shore is known for her tan, and for always being brown. Her love of tan comes from, sunbathing, sunbeds and fake tan (so she probably looks very dark in real life!)

Now she has released a line of bikinis that will help her maintain her tan without the dreaded tan lines. She has teamed up with Perfect Tan Bikini to create these quite gravity defying bikinis.

The bikinis use a adhesive to help the cups stay in place once the straps have been removed. The adhesive is activated by body temperature, however there is no mention on whether it is waterproof, so that would be pretty pointless in my opinion. The adhesive is reusable, and can be reactivated up to 20 times by heat through hairdryer or hair straighteners.

    My opinion-
JWoww looks amazing! Living up to her name in these photos!
I can understand the logic in this endorsement and think it works well, as I think we would all want to look this sexy on the beach. However the designs of the bikini are not to my liking, a little bit trashy I think (but then again Jersey Shore is not known for it's class). The adhesive bikini is a good idea if you don't do anything but sunbathe while on the beach, no activities such as volleyball or swimming would be suitable while wearing this. I have also tried adhesive strapless bras in the past and as a girl with naturally large boobs, then do not support me and just hang off me, so I believe this bikini would have the same effect.

What do you all have to think about this bikini line? Would you wear it?

Look Perfect Despite Not Feeling It| How to Cure a Hangover

So its that time of year, when a lot of people burn the candle at both ends of the stick. Meaning some of us can end up becoming unwell and looking even worse. Due to myself working in hospitality I don't get much time off work, so I am guilty of not having much sleep, too much alcohol and energy drinks, and a poor diet. Here are a some tips that I follow or have heard of through the years.

    Tired Puffy Eyes
We've all woken up with little piggy eyes, despite getting what we thought was enough sleep.
These puffy eyes, are actually caused by things such as dehydration from excessive alcohol consumption, or from sleeping in dry stuffy rooms.
To reduce the symptoms try letting gravity do its work, so prop your head up while you sleep with an extra pillow. If this does not help, try gently tapping the eye area lightly with your finger tips, working from the inner eye by your nose, toward the temple.
If this does still not work, use the good old trick of cupping each closed eye with a chilled stainless steel teaspoon for five minutes.

    Optrex ActiMistâ„¢ Eye Spray
    Bloodshot eyes

Eyedrops! Eyedrops! Eyedrops! These work miracles, as often bloodshot eyes are the telltale of a tired or hungover person. For those who wear contact lenses, so cannot spend the day putting eye drops in many companies now have solutions that you can spray on your closed eyelid and they still have the same effect.
There also exists a homemade remedy, however I have not tried it, so do not know whether it works, but to me it sounds painful due to the witch hazel. Anyways you are to add a couple drops of witch hazel into an egg cup of mineral water, then place it snugly over the eye allowing it to wash the eye for around 10 seconds.

    Chapped lips and noses
Shiny, peeling noses are often around this time of year to the risk of colds and flu. The easiest way to get rod is of a slick of one per cent hydrocortison products such as Hc45 cream, which is available at chemists.
Chapped lips need protected and healed from products such as Vaseline, use this especially at bedtime.
Always avoid matte, pale, frosty lip colours of you do have chapped lips as this highly emphasized the flaky lips, instead use moisturizing lipstick with a sheer gloss or satin texture.

    Dry, Flaky skin
Due to low humidity, central heating and other dehydrating elements pf the colder months, our skin becomes dry, flaky and dull.
I am an avid believer in exfoliating, but it is needed even more so in the winter. We do not shed our skin unlike reptiles, so we need to give ourselves a helping hand. Exfoliating will rid the old dead skin cells, and reveal more fresh healthy cells. Always layer on the moisturiser afterwards though, otherwise you will see no benefit. Outdoor exercise will also help boost circulation and will improve the look of your skin.

    Dull complexion

Diet and exercise will always help your complexion, there is really nothing better. So despite the cold months and stodgy food, please still keep up your exercise regime.
Boost your complexion even more so with the use of a good moisturiser, a radiance-enhancing one will work best. Really massage the lotion into your face, then let it absorb into your skin for five to ten minutes before applying your foundation.

    The dreaded hangover
You feel awful because of the alcohol leaving you dehydrated, which affects the blood vessels around the brain giving you an awful headache.
    - The things you can do to minimize the symptoms are lining your stomach before you go out with a good meal. This helps slow down the rate the alcohol is absorbed.
    - Drink water before, during and after drinking alcohol this is the best thing you can do as it slows down your drinking, and helps flush your body of the alcohol and stops dehydration.
    - Treat headaches with paracetamol rather than aspirin or ibuprofen painkillers as these can irritate your stomach.
    - Eat protein rich meals (if you can keep it down) scrambled eggs, or a chicken wrap are ideal.
    - If you are feeling sick, ginger helps as it has anti-nausea qualities. So have a smoothie with ginger included in it, also  a smoothie will help replenish your body with vitamins.
    - Eat yoghurt, better still live yoghurt. As the "friendly" probiotic bacteria in your gut can help to boost recovery from alcohol-induced liver damage.

What are your go-to tips to ensure you look alive after a heavy few nights? What hangover cure do you use?

    Snooki's weight loss

Wild side: Snooki showed off her newly slim figure in a pink printed monokini, complete with leopardskin hoodie ion a picture she posted on her Facebook page earlier today
Snooki posing in her bikini on Twitter
Look how light I am! Super slim Snooki gets a lift from boyfriend Jionni as they decorate their first Christmas tree together in a snap she posted on Twitter today
Snooki with her boyfriend (again a personal picture from her Twitter account)
Blue beauty: Snooki showed off her slender legs in another monokini, this one in a bright turquoise shade
    Another shot in her bikini
So I have been following Snooki's weight loss for a while now, as she frequents my twitter, and is often mentioned on websites and magazines I read.

I never really thought she was massively huge, like the media portrayed her to be. Yes she was a bit overweight for the height she is, but not massively. Now she has been losing weight, she looks great, I just hope she doesn't go too far as I know she has had eating disorders in the past. She admitted to battling both anorexia and bulimia in high school, and once only weighed 80lbs. She told OK magazine "There were these little freshman girls, and I was scared that these little freshmen girls were going to take my spot [in the  cheer-leading squad]. I just started eating salads... and then I got to a point where I was just eating a cracker a day. I was down to 80 pounds. I almost died."

I know that her current weight-loss is credited to weight loss tablets called Zantrex. She stated on her twitter that she eats less, workout more, but credits the pills for her transformation. The pills are fat burning tablets, which have also been used by Britney Spears. The side effects include palpitations, anxiety, cold sweats, nausea, diarrhoea, increased heart rate and irritability.

On the website it states that the tablets just cause fat loss, not body weight loss, and that they should be taken twice a day, two in the morning and two with your main meal.

Personally I admit, I have been tempted in the past to resort to miracle weight-loss tablets, but never have. I believe now that every person is capable of changing their body without taking pills and tablets that cause such dangerous side effects. I would be too scared of the side effects to take any of these fat-loss tablets. I think especially celebrities who have access to personal trainers and nutritionalists (most of us don't have the pennies so such luxuries) should be losing weight the healthy way through exercise and healthy eating. For us without these luxuries become your own personal trainer and nutritionalist, educate yourself, there are thousands of free websites to read up on what you need to do to change your body if you have the desire to.

I want to know what your reactions are to celebrities using weight loss tablets? Or even in general your opinion on the tablets. Or on Snooki, should someone with previous eating disorders be taking weight loss tablet.

The Best Bodyweight Exercise (Fun Program with Maximum Result)

The greatest problem with most exercise programs is an inability to balance work and rest. That is the single biggest reason clients fail to achieve their goals. Most coaches either have you training too hard or too often, burning you out in the process, or they have you training too light to get a proper training effect.

The formula laid out in Bodyweight Exercise Revolution ensures that you can work optimally on your High Intensity days in order to reap the maximum training effect in each cycle throughout the program. Over the course of seven cycles of four days, the programs in BER push back your fitness threshold in ways you would not have believed possible if you hadn’t experienced it for yourself. It's simply astonishing just how much difference 28 days can make!

There are some truly amazing tales of transformation associated with this formula. Adam personally gained 2.5 lbs of muscle and lost 5 lbs of fat in only 28 days using these methods. By systematically building rest and recovery into his training in a scientific way, he was able to hit new Personal Records consistently in almost all of his High Intensity training sessions. This would be impossible with a conventional linear training progression!

Adam's client Lauri was a kettlebell enthusiast who was training hard. Too hard. Her problem wasn't the volume of work she was doing, but that she wasn't balancing that hard work with deliberate recovery. With Adam's help she blew her previous kettlebell sport performance out of the water!

Another client, Michel, diligently plugged away at an exercise program that placed too much emphasis on flexibility, movement recovery and prehab, but didn't put any time into creating a training effect and provoking progress and growth. It wasn't until Michel discovered the magic of mixing high intensity exercise with recovery that the true feeling of wellness was revealed to him.

Using the formula laid out in Bodyweight Exercise Revolution ensures that you can work optimally on your high intensity days in order to reap the maximum training effect possible in each cycle throughout the program.

Those are just a few of the many success stories associated with this program. Ryan and Adam's Bodyweight Exercise Revolution gives you an inexpensive, portable, and fun way to take your training with you, wherever your active life might lead.

The portability of this program is great. The impressive results are great. But it would all be worthless without the ability to capture your imagination and keep you looking forward to each training session.

Adam and Ryan are both known for crafting exciting training programs that ensure steady progress toward the goals they set with their clients.

And that's exactly why they don't limit themselves to the same tired old, run-of-the-mill bodyweight exercises you're used to seeing. They won't make you do a thousand push ups and sit ups, and they won't bore you to tears. What they will do is teach you exciting new movements that will not only help you get in better shape but will actually prime your nervous system to assimilate new skills more rapidly.

    Saturday's Haul

So I bought a few bits and bobs quickly after work. Pretty dumb of me I know, seems it was unbelievably busy, I was literally squeezing past people.

I am off out for tea tomorrow night with my friends. Its a yearly dinner we always have and its great to catch up with everyone. Plus because I haven't seen everyone in a while its always good to look nice and buy a new outfit. So that's what I did.

I bought a new dress in the sale at Dorothy Perkins. It was meant to be £30, but I got it for £17. I also got new House of Holland Tights from River Island for £12. I plan on wearing both these with a back blazer, black leather waist belt, and black patent platform shoes. I think I'm going to mix it up a little by accompanying  it with red shoulder bag. I will obviously post pictures of what I wear later in the week.

I also got some hair dye, as I have awful roots. Its a new one that I haven't tried before so I will do a quick review of it later. Then I got my staple face-wipes and a cheap moisturiser, along with Boots own faketan, again I will do a review later.

Finally I bought my mother an extra couple of Christmas presents and a ring to complete my outfit.

Did anyone else have a good shop this past weekend?
